Our process
The first stage of planning your project is for us to take a look at your architect plans or existing room measurements, along with any inspiration images or ideas you might have for the space, and a wish list of must-have features or appliances. From here, we'll come up with a ballpark figure for your cabinetry, outline our initial thoughts in some layout and design sketches, and share any inspirational images or materials we think would work beautifully in your space.

If our initial ideas align with your own, at this stage it's often helpful to arrange a site visit where we can see the space, take our own measurements, discuss design ideas and meet you in person. If the space is still being built or not due to be finished for some time, we'd still love to meet you and discuss the project in person and are happy to work from architect plans.

Once you're happy to explore our design ideas further, we'll start working on a series of CAD drawings (you can see a few examples of these below) and come up with a finalised quote. As a cabinetmaking company, our quotes focus on the supply and install of our cabinetry and supplied hardware only, but we're also happy to make suggestions for appliances, flooring, lighting, sinks, taps, accessories and worktops. Most of our customers choose to source their own and we're happy to work collaboratively with others trades and suppliers, but if you'd like any guidance on this, please do ask.

Once final designs and costs are agreed, we'll agree a suitable install date and discuss our payment schedule with you. As a small company and a very small team, our lead time for larger projects, including kitchens, can be anywhere between four to 10 months but if this doesn't suit your timescale, please do continue to get in touch to discuss this with us.
Around a month before the planned install date, your project build will begin. All of our cabinetry is handmade by cabinetmakers Luke and Frazer, and hand-sprayed or hand-painted by the finisher, Loz, in our Lincolnshire workshop. Luke installs every piece of cabinetry himself, with kitchen installs usually completed in around two to three weeks and smaller projects completed in a few days to a week, depending on the scale of the project.

Once the project has been installed, we'll ensure you're happy with every detail before leaving you to enjoy your new handmade kitchen or cabinetry. This isn't usually where our journey together ends, though - we love to stay in touch with our customers and we're always happy to answer any questions or queries in the months after installation is complete. As a small business, we truly value the relationship we build with our customers and like to think you'll come back to us, or recommend us to others, time and time again.
